From LGS Transport Training to LGS Solutions. Here’s What’s Changing (and What’s Not!)

If you’ve known us as
LGS Transport Training, you’ll know we’ve built our name on top-quality driver training, from lorries to coaches, buses to minibuses, forklifts to all things transport.
That’s still very much who we are… but we’ve outgrown our old name.
Why the change?
Over the past few years, we’ve expanded far beyond training. We now offer:
- LGS Transport Training: HGV, bus, coach, minibus, forklift, and more.
- LGS Recruitment: Helping candidates find jobs in any industry (not just transport).
- LGS Recruitment for Employers: Finding the right staff for businesses of all sizes.
- LGSWorkwear ( Cosmic Monkey ): Supplying and branding workwear, schoolwear, sportswear, and club uniforms, all printed and embroidered in-house.
That’s a lot more than just transport training. The new name LGS Solutions reflects the fact that we’re now a one-stop shop for getting qualified, employed, and kitted out.
What’s staying the same?
- We’re still based right here in Frome, Somerset.
- We still have the same friendly, straight-talking, and slightly sarcastic team in the office.
- We still deliver the same high-quality training and exceptional customer service we’ve always been known for.
In short, it’s the same team you know, just with more ways to help you.
What about recruitment?
You might have spotted the word recruitment above – and yes, that’s a big part of what we do now. We’ll be talking much more about this very soon, but for now, know that whether you’re looking for a job or you’re an employer looking for staff, LGS Solutions can help.
What this means for you
Soon, when you visit our website or social media, you’ll see LGS Solutions instead of LGS Transport Training. This is simply to make it easier for you to find everything we do in one place: training, recruitment, workwear, and more.
