Casual Driver CPC & Forklift Instructor

Location: Based in Frome, Somerset – some local travel will be required

Hours: Casual / Flexible

Pay: Good rates of pay

We are looking for an experienced and reliable casual Driver CPC & Forklift Instructor to join our growing team.

We are a well-established, family-run training business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality training to businesses and individuals across the Southwest.

The Role

You will deliver a range of training courses, including:

•⁠ ⁠Driver CPC training

•⁠ ⁠Forklift / MHE training

•⁠ ⁠Driver assessments and inductions

•⁠ ⁠Other transport-related training where appropriate

The role offers flexible, casual work, making it ideal for someone looking to supplement their existing work or take on additional training days.

The role is based in Frome, although some local travel will be required to deliver training at customer sites.

Essential Requirements

•⁠ ⁠LGV driving entitlement

•⁠ ⁠Proven forklift operating experience – essential

•⁠ ⁠Experience driving LGVs or a recognised Transport Manager qualification

•⁠ ⁠Professional, reliable and confident when dealing with customers

•⁠ ⁠Good communication skills and the ability to deliver engaging training

Desirable

•⁠ ⁠Existing forklift instructor qualification

•⁠ ⁠Existing Driver CPC / JAUPT-approved instructor experience

•⁠ ⁠Previous experience delivering vocational training

Don’t currently hold an instructor qualification? That’s not necessarily a problem. For the right candidate, instructor training can be provided.
